Strategy Translated into Knowledge

Retail experience
My presence in the consulting market isn't a matter of personal branding. It's a natural consequence of over 30 years of experience in retail – from operational work on the sales floor, through category management and pricing strategy, to full accountability for the P&L bottom line in executive roles.
I've worked for international corporations, national retail leaders, and global FMCG manufacturers. I managed structures where assortment and pricing decisions impacted hundreds of locations, thousands of employees, and millions of transactions annually.
As a board member and CEO, I was responsible for the commercial strategy, purchasing policy, franchise development, and operational profitability of entire chains. I participated in key system implementations, from the optimization of operational tools to the nationwide process standardization. This corporate experience shaped my professional foundation: every strategy must be scalable, resistant to staff turnover and executable with precision in every single store.
Where do I support business today?
For years I have been conducting advanced consulting and transformation projects for:
- FMCG, DIY and Convenience retail chains Building sustainable profitability models.
- FMCG manufacturers Strengthening their position in the modern retail channel.
- Organizations in the process of change Helping to transform business models.
- Capital groups Optimizing the value and profitability of their retail assets.
In my projects, I see recurring patterns that block growth:
- Building assortment “from the index up”, instead of from the strategic category assumptions.
- Lack of clearly defined roles for individual categories within the company structure.
- Pricing that reacts to competition's moves instead of anticipating them.
- Merchandising perceived as aesthetics rather than an economic tool and a silent salesperson.
- Manufacturer-retailer conflicts that destroy structural margin on both sides.
That's why in my publications and keynotes I focus on facts from real implementations. I show how the absence of strategy directly reduces margin, how shelf structure drives conversion, and how to integrate supplier and retailer actions to build profitability synergy instead of costly conflict.
Publications
My books, articles, and conference talks focus not on management theory but on the practice of retail transformation. Every thesis is grounded in project data: analysis of structural margins, m² productivity, promotion effectiveness, and negotiation performance
Key books:
Profitability Synergy
A manifesto of modern collaboration in retail.

Pricing
The essential guide to pricing management in retail.
Merchandising and category management
A practical handbook for the point of sale.
I simplify complex processes
I speak to executive boards, sales directors, category leaders, and strategic teams. On stage, I do exactly what I do in projects: I simplify complexity and translate it into concrete business decisions.
The CMF360° model was created as a response to fragmented approaches to category management and pricing. It's not an academic concept. It's a synthetic operating model that has been tested in hundreds of projects – from single categories to full chain transformations.
TOP RETAIL EXPERT 2026
The authority of CMF360° doesn't come from marketing. It comes from repeatable results.
In 2026, I received the TOP Retail Expert 2026 award for my measurable impact on retail transformation.
This is not an award for media presence.
This is a recognition of implementation effectiveness – under real margin pressure, amid competition and taking into account operational scale.
Today, my role as a retail expert is to combine three perspectives:
- operational experience from retail corporations,
- consulting practice from transformation projects,
- and the CMF360° systemic model that integrates strategy, pricing and execution.
This combination doesn’t just allow me to comment on the market.
It allows me to effectively change it.
